Reseat the Imaging Unit

Note:
Remember to use the white Information Key on the Front Panel to gain access to additional, important details about the current display message, such as jam clearing instructions and Supplies re-ordering information.

- Push up button A and fully open the front cover.
- Open Cover C.
- Install the imaging unit if it is missing. If the imaging unit is installed, proceed with the reseating instructions below.
- Grip the handle on the top of the imaging unit and gently lift it out of the printer.
 |
Hold the imaging unit by the handle on top of the unit to prevent the unit from falling and permanently damaging it.

- Hold the imaging unit by the handle, align its 4 shafts with the slots indicated by the arrows on the printer, and gently lower it into the printer.

- Do not touch the transfer roller (black colored part)
- Lowering the unit into the printer without correctly aligning the shafts with the slots can damage the unit.
- To avoid damaging the transfer roller do not allow the surface of the transfer roller to come into contact with anything.

- Close door C.
- Close front cover A.
